Associate Director – Asset Management

A leading US financial company are seeking to hire an Associate Director for their UK & European division. This is a Full-Time, Permanent opportunity. Remuneration package: up to £90,000 inclusive of Benefits & Bonus.  International travel is required.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the firm’s European retail-focused research initiatives;
  • Manage a team of 4 research analysts;
  • Act as project lead and primary author for research content related to the European Asset Management industry;
  • Knowledge of cross-border distribution trends & product analysis.
  • Build relationships with business leaders and executives at distributors;
  • Conduct qualitative research interviews related to research themes;
  • Present at industry conferences, client events, and industry webcasts;
  • Build and manage relationships and partnerships with industry trade associations and publications;
  • Manage report projects and deadlines;
  • Use existing data sources (Broadridge / Morningstar) and find new sources of data to create exhibits

About You:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience gained within Asset Management.
  • Finance related Degree level (or equivalent).
  • CFA or IMC certified.
  • Experience of distribution and product analysis, quantitative research, strategic and operational practices.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication & relationship building skills at C-Suite level.
  • Strong, confident presentation skills.
  • International travel is required.

Managing Director – UK & Europe

A leading international financial company are seeking to hire a Managing Director for their UK & European division.  You will report into the US CEO.  This is a Full-Time, Permanent opportunity. Remuneration package: SIX FIGURES inclusive of Benefits & Bonus.  International travel is required.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Further developing the business strategy for the UK & Europe that delivers sustainable profitable growth and market penetration
  • Managing the business development and business operations across the UK & Europe.
  • Attending & presenting at industry conferences in the UK & Europe.
  • Responsibility for P&L and reporting to the Board.
  • Providing strong leadership ensuring the organisation attracts, retains and develops talent across the business
  • Overseeing all operations and ensuring that a high quality of service is delivered and maintained to a growing client base across the UK & Europe.
  • Managing and developing key relationships with new and existing clients
  • Further developing a culture for the business focussed on sales and customer service
  • Assessing and analysing new market opportunities that could further support the growth of the business across the UK & Europe

About You:

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience gained within Asset Management.
  • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent).
  • Outstanding commercial awareness and industry knowledge.
  • Experience of strategic and operational practices.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication & relationship building skills at C-Suite level.
  • Strong, confident presentation skills.
  • International travel is required.
